WhatsApp Expands Platform Support

WhatsApp new features are rolling out for users worldwide through a phased release. The update introduces four additions across supported devices. The most notable WhatsApp new features target iPad users.

Users can now create a Whats-App account directly on an iPad. They no longer need to link the account with a mobile phone first. Registration can be completed entirely on the iPad. Users can then start using WhatsApp immediately. The update makes the setup process easier.

WhatsApp also introduced new support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Users can listen to messages while driving without using their hands. They can also reply to messages through supported in-car systems.

PDF Tools and Status Sharing

The latest WhatsApp new features also improve PDF file handling. Users can now open PDF files inside WhatsApp without downloading them first. They can also highlight content and add notes using basic editing tools.

Another update supports music sharing through WhatsApp Status. Users of Apple Music and Spotify can share the song they are currently listening to directly on WhatsApp Status.

According to WhatsApp, these WhatsApp new features will become available to users around the world in stages. The company said the rollout covers all four announced updates. The changes include direct iPad registration, expanded in-car functions, improved PDF support, and music sharing through WhatsApp Status. The phased release will continue as the updates reach more users. These additions provide a convenient way to access new capabilities while keeping the existing WhatsApp experience unchanged.
