Pakistan secured three bronze medals at the International Physics Olympiad held in Bucaramanga, Colombia. The International Physics Olympiad took place from July 4 to July 12. More than 400 students from over 90 countries joined the global competition.

The Pakistani medal winners included Zulfiqar Ali from Dera Ghazi Khan. Ali Hamdan Alvi from Rawalpindi also earned a bronze medal. Daniyal Shahzad Hamid from Islamabad completed Pakistan's list of medal winners.

Hazza Mahmood from Lahore received an honorable mention during the competition. Abdullah Ejaz from Rawalpindi also earned an honorable mention. Their performances strengthened Pakistan's presence at the International Physics Olympiad.

The students qualified through the 22nd National Science Talent Contest. The Higher Education Commission and PIEAS organized the selection process. Students completed several intensive training camps at the PIEAS campus. National and international experts provided theoretical and experimental instruction.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Irfan and Dr. Muhammad Waseem led the Pakistani delegation. They guided the team throughout the International Physics Olympiad competition. The event tested advanced physics knowledge and practical problem-solving abilities.

Pakistan has now sent more than 365 students to International Science Olympiads. Those participants have won a total of 144 medals across different scientific competitions. The latest International Physics Olympiad results added three more bronze medals to that record. The achievement reflects sustained investment in science education and student preparation. It also highlights Pakistan's growing presence in international academic contests. This remarkable performance encourages future participants. The results bring proud recognition for Pakistan's young physicists.
