110 Pakistani Students Return Through Torkham Border

A further 110 Pakistani students return through the Torkham border from Afghanistan. Authorities also allowed 592 Pakistani cargo vehicles to enter Pakistan. The students and vehicles had remained stranded during Pakistan-Afghanistan tensions.

Border security sources confirmed the latest movement through the Torkham crossing. The Pakistani students return followed coordinated efforts by officials and local representatives.

Earlier, authorities arranged the return of 70 Pakistani students one month ago. The latest operation involved Haji Shireen Khan Afridi’s support and coordination. He is a prominent industrialist and ANP district president in Khyber.

Pakistani and Afghan diplomatic teams also supported the process. Border security officials from both countries helped organise the movement. Students Had Remained Stranded Sources said tensions had affected travel since 12 October 2025.

Hundreds of Pakistani students and cargo vehicles remained in Afghanistan. The Pakistani students return occurred in stages through the border crossing.
