According to available reports, the first incident occurred in Machkandai area of Shangla. A strong flood current carried away two women during the rainfall period. Local residents responded quickly and rescued one woman safely.

Heavy rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also led to another weather-related incident in Faiza area of Shangla. Lightning struck a house during the storm.

According to the school administration, around 260 female students were present at the time. After the lightning strike, disorder spread through the building and several students fell while trying to move.

As a result, 22 students sustained injuries. Emergency teams transferred all injured students to a nearby hospital for treatment and medical support.

Health officials started providing care immediately after their arrival. Authorities continue monitoring their condition.
